Sports injuries can happen to students, pre-professionals, professionals, weekend warriors, and people with repetitive daily activities. Dr. Cydney is highly trained in assessing and creating a treatment plan for conditions like sprains, strains, overuse injuries, and repetitive motion injuries. She grew up playing youth sports and stays physically active through weight and mobility training, and yoga. She was a student member of the American Chiropractic Association Rehab Council, and prioritizes continuing education that provides hands-on learning.

Athletes ask a lot of their bodies, and when they’re hurt, they often want answers fast. Dr. Cydney’s approach to sports chiropractic goes beyond quick fixes to focus on the root causes of pain and dysfunction, with the goal of restoring efficient movement and reducing risk of re-injury. Each athlete comes in with a unique training load, injury history, and performance goal, so every care plan starts with a detailed assessment.

Despite the challenges presented by our Pacific Northwest weather, Portlanders and Vancouverites are active year-round. Your body isn’t just a tool; it’s your teammate, and Groove Chiropractic helps keep it ready for action.
