Dr. Cydney is proficient in manual and instrument-assisted adjusting/manipulation, mobilization, massage therapies, and home exercises to alleviate jaw pain and tension.
Jaw tension rarely travels alone. Stress isn’t just mental: it shows up in your shoulders, your jaw, and even your digestion. Addressing neck mechanics and jaw tension early can decrease the severity and duration of headaches, and less stress helps reduce clenching, so the cycle of improved function and symptoms continues.
One patient gets chronic, recurrent jaw tension that results in generalized stress. Treating his neck (chiropractic manipulative therapy, soft tissue therapies, home exercises, and heat) and his jaw (intra-oral soft tissue therapy, Activator tool adjusting and manual mobilization, and external soft tissue therapy) helps reduce his physical symptoms, which results in decreased stress.

Dr. Cydney spends up to one hour with each new patient, and up to 30 minutes during most follow-up appointments, ensuring time for thorough, relevant examinations and personalization of each care plan.
There are no open floor plans with patients being treated right next to one another.
She treats the jaw and the neck together, because tension in one so often feeds the other.
She is trained in intra-oral soft tissue therapy, as well as gentle Activator tool adjusting and manual mobilization of the jaw.
You'll receive management strategies to use while you are OUTSIDE of the office, which is where Dr. Cydney hopes to help you spend more time living life, playing your sport, loving your art, and enjoying family time!
Dr. Cydney invests time in continuing education that strengthens her ability to provide culturally competent care to LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and other commonly marginalized groups.
