Groove Chiropractic in Vancouver WA: Why Your Spine is the Key to Energy & Joy
When your spine is aligned, everything from your mood to your movement can feel lighter and freer. Many people don’t realize that chiropractic care is about more than pain relief—it’s about restoring flow in your body so you can fully embrace life. Imagine living with more energy, less tension, and the ability to move through your day with ease. In Vancouver, WA, where outdoor adventures and community events are part of everyday life, your body deserves to keep up. At Groove Chiropractic, alignment isn’t just physical—it’s a mindset shift into a more vibrant you.
Patient success story
S. presented in April with chronic neck pain, headaches, thoracic and lumbar stiffness, and depression and brain fog. She chose Groove because she loves to dance and the clinic name resonated with her. Exercise was flaring her neck pain and her previous chiropractor released her from care because her last two treatments had increased her headache frequency. She felt tired all the time and as if her "head was screwed on too tight". After her first treatment at Groove Chiropractic in Vancouver WA, she felt an increase in energy for about 1/2 a day. After her fourth treatment, she was staying at her baseline without head or neck flareups, a significant improvement. By the time she returned for visit #9, she reported a decrease in neck pain, no bad headaches, and displayed an overall sense of ease and boosted mood and energy.
My morning routine for staying in the Groove
I wake up to my alarm and often hit "Snooze" a couple of times (real me, real life). I use a Happy Light on the bathroom counter while I wash my face, brush my teeth and put on lotion and sunscreen.
On nice days, I drink a decaf coffee bevvy outside in the sun with my dog. Sometimes with breakfast, sometimes with NYT Mini Crossword, Connections, Spelling Bee and Wordle on my phone -- I aim to avoid screen time for at least the first ten minutes upon waking!!
Movement starts with either a dog walk, gardening, or yoga before work. Yoga is my favorite way to keep my body moving, challenge myself physically and mentally, meet members of the community, and stay strong and flexible.
Then I Groove around my clinic between a sit-stand ergonomic work station and my treatment table or movement space, helping YOU feel better, get stronger, and move with more ease.
The mind-body connection
I think of three major areas that combine to create body stress: physical (daily work/hobby activities, past/current injuries, the food and drink we take in, etc.); environmental (living space, latitude/sunlight, pollution, etc.) and psychological (work, finances, relationships, mood disorders, etc.). I will help you come up with ways to modify each of these stressful areas and pair those to the body work done in the treatment room. These are some of the foundations for creating whole body health!
If you’re ready for a chiropractor who listens to you, celebrates your milestones and victories, and takes the time to get to know you and your tissues, I’d be honored to work with you.
